Our history
1990 the Moselle Bay seafront is coming to an end
The Brasserie Le Bout du Monde was built on the remains of old ships, tall ships, long-haul ships and coasters that came to die in New Caledonia at the bottom of the Bay of Moselle.
They were called "Les Miserables".
Thus, firmly anchored, Le Bout du Monde
perpetuates the tradition of meeting places for sailors, travellers, exiles of all kinds. This is also what gives it a singular particularity that we can sometimes feel when, emanating from its foundations, these old ships begin to tell us stories.
